Front Mount Snow Blower Kits
With a Lorenz Front Mount Blower Kit, our standard 3-point blowers can be fitted to the front of many newer farm tractors. The kit uses a main rail frame assembly and mount brackets for the front and rear of the tractor. The gearbox has four large spur gears to reverse and transmit the PTO power under the tractor and to the blower in front. The two lower 3-point arms are used to attach the blower to the kit, and the third link is an hydraulic lift cylinder. These kits are usually assembled to order, so they can be attached to the tractor with little preparation. The front mount kit is designed for the 30 Series and 38 Series snow blowers.
Below is a list of all makes and models of tractors that have been fitted with our kit. Some kits work with the loader brackets installed, but other kits require them to be removed.
Other conditions that affect a front mount kit are the mid-mount PTO, low profile tires, turf tires, etc. Generally, tractors equipped with a mid-mount PTO cannot be fitted with a front mount kit because of interference with the rail frame under the tractor. For good ground clearance, normal tires are recommended. We have fitted a few other tractors that are not included in the table above. Testing Our gearbox used to drop the power to the lower drive shaft is tested and proven to over 100 HP.
